Bishop T. Wright Johnson
[Matt. 22:14] For many are called, but few are chosen.
Bishop Johnson is a man called and sent by God. A chosen vessel of God to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ by fulfilling the "great commission" to continue steadfastly in the Apostle's Doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread and in prayers. [Acts 2:42]
Bishop Johnson was born and raised in Wildwood, Florida. While attending college, he answered the call of God into the ministry. He was a member of Greater Grace Apostolic Assemblies, where he was ordained an evangelist and then a minister, under the leadership of John Forte'. In this ministry, he received instructions from God to relocate to Dallas, Texas. He has been in the ministry 41 years and is an overseer of a church in Haiti.
Bishop Johnson is truly a man after God's own heart, who is full of integrity, full of faith and love, having knowledge and wisdom and understanding, and a man of humility with a meek and gentle spirit. He believes the Word of God to its entirety. And the gifts of the Spirit are operable in his walk with Christ.
As a servant and forerunner for the Lord, he has overcome many obstacles in his life. In spite of it all, God has given him great testimonies of triumph. He is a strong warrior in the Lord and stands assuredly on this word, "My faith is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and His righteousness."
Bishop Johnson is married to Lady Janette Johnson. Lady Johnson is a loving and caring woman and partner in Christ with her beloved husband. As his help meet, she is very supportive of him in the ministry. She is a woman of many talents and loves to operate in the ministry of helps. She has a warm, pleasant, and humble spirit, with a sense of humor, and very energetic and outgoing. She has a heart toward people and enjoy fellowship with the saints. Her favorite scripture is [Psalm 133:1] Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity?"
